iDetailAid 1.6.3

We are delighted to announce the release of iDetailAid 1.6.3 which will be available on Monday 16th May 2016.

This is a minor release focusing on performance enhancements and flexibility when localising content.

Linking to assets

It's now possible to open existing, non-slide assets (such as documents, HTML5 animations and videos) using a content area action. This provides a much easier way of opening PDF documents or full size images for example.

Live previews of all assets

The asset library has been improved with live previews for all asset types including HTML5, documents and videos.

Enhanced presentation builder

Some additional features have been added to the presentation builder, which will make structuring content easier when working with presentations containing a lot of slides.

Editors can now insert slides anywhere in the structure and delete whole columns of slides.

Advanced styling options for localisation

The scope of styling options available in iDetailAid have now increased, providing much greater flexibility to control branding and configuration at not just a product level, but also at a country, presentation and even slide level.

This accommodates a wider variety of options when localising content and provides the ability to configure fonts, styles, navigation and overlays at a regional level.

Huge performance improvements

A lot of work has gone into further improving the performance of iDetailAid throughout the platform and users should see significant improvements when creating content, saving changes and navigating around the system.

Bug fixes

As usual, there have also been a large number of minor issues resolved and bugs squashed.
