Creating Content¶
eDetail content created in iDetailAid is comprised of assets, templates, slides and presentations. These can all be linked together to form interactive presentations that work in Veeva.
Create your first slides¶
Once you've logged into iDetailAid, select the Slides tab and click the Create New Slide + button. You will be taken to the Slide Editor and be presented with a blank slide.
Slide 1¶
- Click the down arrow next to
Add Content Areaand selectText - Type "Slide 1" in the text widget that appears
- Make any format changes to the text using the text formatting panel that appears
- Resize and position this box somewhere on the slide

- Make any format changes to the text using the text formatting panel that appears
- Make sure the text widget is selected, click the
Appearancetab in the right hand panel and choose a background colour for the widget - Resize and position this box somewhere on the slide
- Change the name of the slide from
Untitled slidetoSlide 1 - Click
Saveand then click theSlidestab again
Slide 2¶
- Follow steps 1-10 above replacing "Slide 1" with "Slide 2" and "Next slide" with "Previous slide"
- Click
Saveand then click thePresentationstab
Add your slides to a presentation¶
When on the Presentations screen, click the Create New Presentation + button. You will be taken to the Presentation Editor and be presented with a blank presentation.
In the Available Slides section you will see 2 slides. Rolling over these will show the slide names in a tooltip.

Drag the slides into the
Presentation Builderin the correct orderTip

Presentation Builderto reposition slides -
In the right hand panel, enter "My Presentation" as the
Titlefor your presentation and enter "TEST" as theApproval Code - Click
Save
