Introduction to Tables

iDetailAid supports the ability to insert tables directly into your slides.

Creating a Table

To create a table, select the 'Slides' tab from the top navigation bar and select 'Create new slide' or alternatively, click on an existing slide where you would like to add a table.

  1. Click on the 'Add Content Area' button and select 'Table'.
  2. An automatic pop up screen will appear on the iPad canvas, allowing you to select the size of the table that you require.
  3. Once you have adjusted the size area for the table, click to select and the table will appear.
  4. Once the table has been created, you can then adjust the styling with the use of the table editor.

Editing a Table

To edit an existing table, select the 'Slides' tab from the top navigation bar, hover over an existing slide and click the 'edit icon'. You can then continue to edit the slide and content areas within them.

Table Styles

You are able to style the table according to the brand guidelines that have been setup in your iDetailAid implementation.

Table style guidelines will need to be available to the iDetailAid development team so they can set this up for you.

Edit table with preformatted styles

  1. Select a cell or cells in the table that you prepared.
  2. On the table editor, click the 'Table Styles' icon or the 'Cell Styles' icon.
  3. Click the style or styles you want to select for either the table as a whole, or just the cell.

Note

You can choose multiple styles for one table. For example, you can choose striped rows with all the cell borders being the colour red.
